About me

Hey, I'm Conny!
I’m a true Styrian from the beautiful Murtal valley in Austria. Okay… if you’re not from Austria that might not mean much to you. Everything you need to know: I grew up between cows and mountains, in a region known for skiing in winter.
Spanish has been with me since my school days – though back then, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about it. I truly fell in love with the language during my Erasmus semester in Valencia, and of course later on through my partner and life companion… but we’ll get to that.
Before that, I discovered my passion for travel. My first “big” intercontinental trip was to Ghana – a journey that shaped me deeply and helped me become the culturally open person I am today.
I met and fell in love with my partner Manuel in 2018. The fact that he’s from the Canary Islands and originally only planned to stay in Austria for a year… well, let’s just say life had other plans. You know how love goes ;-)
After a few detours, Manuel and I ended up in Vienna, where we spent six wonderful years building a life together: a cozy apartment, a truly lovely circle of friends, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy sports and good food. Still, something was missing. And although I worked in the NGO and sustainability world, our jobs didn’t fulfill us.
After facing a few tough moments in life, I knew one thing for sure:
We’re not going to keep drifting through life. We’re going to take charge!
And so we did: we now live in my partner’s homeland – Tenerife, the island of eternal spring. But we’re not here just for the sunshine. We’re here to be closer to family and the people who truly matter to us.
For the same reason, I still spend half the year in Austria, living with and near my family.
The most important thing in life is the people we share it with – the ones we go on adventures with, drop by for spontaneous coffee chats, the ones we’d move mountains for, and who stand by us through thick and thin. Whether your apartment burns down, you lose someone dear, or you find a tick in a very awkward spot – these are the people who truly matter.
And I want to be there for you in those pivotal moments of life – the joyful ones you’ve long dreamed of, and the ones you never asked for and hoped would never come.
In all of these moments, it’s important to have someone by your side whom you trust to find the right words. Someone you trust to make your ceremony – that once-in-a-lifetime moment – feel real, honest, personal, and deeply moving.
I want to carry you through your most emotional moments.
And the most important part:
I’m real – and you get to be, too.
Nice to meet you!
